Lancet Series Research Consortium Convenes in Berlin
In October, representatives from the four research groups working on the Lancet Series on Diplomacy for Health gathered in Berlin for a two-day in-person workshop.
With the Series papers nearing submission, team members from across the globe, including Singapore, Lebanon, Japan, Guinea-Bissau, Sweden, China, India and Belgium, met to present their drafts, exchange feedback and plan the next steps.
The Series seeks to update the conceptualisation of health diplomacy, advance the understanding of motivations for engaging in health diplomacy, explore factors that contribute to successful engagement and provide forward-looking recommendations for the future of the field.
The Series is expected to be published in mid-2026, with launch events planned in several regions.
